Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who himself is a trained martial art fighter, owed all the success he had achieved in life to Karate. He even propagated the study of martial arts in schools.The event was organized by the actor himself and had commenced on October 19.Akshay Kumar attended the finale of the `Akshay Kumar Invitational and International Karate Championship` in Mumbai on Saturday.

Founder Sheeraz Hasan, who is currently in Dubai with Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner for the opening of his retail outlet Millions of Milkshakes, confirmed the news, saying: “I have a lot of connections in Hollywood and Bollywood, and it is time to actually merge the talent to bring about a universal brand.
“I asked Kim if she would ever be interested to star in a Bollywood movie and she hasn’t said no,” said Hasan, as Kardashian nodded in agreement. “So I gathered a collection of all of Shah Rukh Khan’s best films and have handed over the DVDs to Kim.
“She will hopefully watch them over this weekend and if all goes well, then we can get Kim and Shah Rukh to work together.”
Hasan added that he plans to set up a conference call between the three of them next week itself and hopes the news will be positive. (more…)

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar saw a special screening of KV Anand directed Ko in Mumbai and fell in love with the film. He immediately took a decision to buy the remake rights of the film. The buzz is that Akshay liked the way Anand chronicled the life and times of a press photographer and made it a commercially viable film.After watching teh film, Akshay called up KV Anand and congratulated him for making such a good film. Akshay is negotiating with RS Infotainment the producers of Ko, to produce it under his Hari Om Movies. He wants Anthony D’Souza, the director of the Hindi film Blue (2009) to remake it. Anthony popularly known as Tony is a good friend of Akshay and was in search of a good story for a remake.
