Salman Khan has been the sole guide to all his siblings and has played a pivotal role in getting their careers on track. From Arbaaz Khan to Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan and Atul Agnihotri, Salman has been the front runner in launching and stabilizing their careers. And it seems that his youngest sibling Arpita too is keen to make it big in Bollywood.
While she might be forbidden from doing acting, the idea of producing the film is always open for the Khan family. It is heard that Arpita is keen to take up production and is gearing up to produce films as soon as possible. She too wants to follow the footsteps of Arbaaz, Sohail and Alvira and make an image of her own.
It remains to be seen how far and how soon this will turn true.

Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), an initiative combining the two most popular forms of entertainment –
cinema and cricket – is set to bring together Bollywood and the southern film industry to play a game of cricket in January.
“This is the first year. We are just bringing it together. Once it takes off and this model works, we’ll make it more structured. Once we get the support, we’ll make it a bigger model. We’ll do proper practice and we are taking this very seriously,” Bollywood star Sohail Khan told reporters here.
The match, which will take place in the last week of January, 2011, will have many known names from the southern film industry. Sohail Khan, who has named the team Mumbai Heroes, is its owner.
Suniel Shetty is the captain of the team and Salman Khan, the icon player.
The team includes Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Kunal Khemu, Ashish Choudhary, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Makrand Deshpande, Kabir Sadanand, Apoorva Lakhia, Sonu Sood, Harman Baweja, Angad Bedi, Irrfan Khan, and Zayed Khan.

Malaika Arora Khan an all-expense-paid holiday in Koh Samui in Thailand, along with her family and friends.
Says Malaika, “It’s sweet and thoughtful of Arbaaz to gift me a vacation on my birthday (October 23) for my friends and family (her parents and sister Amrita Arora Ladhak and Amu’s husband Shakeel will accompany them). Initially, it was supposed to be just him, our son Arhaan and me, but our close friend Vikram Phadnis’s birthday also falls on my birthday so we decided to celebrate it together. There will be 17 of us and it will be a four-day holiday.”
Malaika loves water sports and she is looking forward to it. “I love water sports. I am a very adventurous gal who does everything from deep sea diving to bungee jumping and jet skiing.”
To capture the moments, Arbaaz Khan has even gifted his wife an expensive camera.
After this expensive vacation, Arbaaz with his family will be traveling to New York to enjoy Diwali.

Item number ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ by Malaika Arora Khan has hit the music chartbuster and hubby Arbaaz Khan can’t stop praising his wife. Highly glad, Arbaaz quips, ‘I’m so glad my wife’s song ‘Munni badnaam hui’ is as big as ‘Kajra re’ and ‘Beedi jalai le’,’
‘Honestly I am not going to say I am taken aback by the success of ‘Munni badnaam hui’. We had designed it to be a blockbuster item song,’ he added.
We can say that ‘Dabangg’ is a family picture for the Khans as all the members of the Khan family are involved in the making of the film, ‘My sister (Alvira) has done the clothes. My brother Sohail has helped me with the production and my wife is the co-producer. It’s a product from the Khan family. And we’re very proud of it’, says Arbaaz.
The efforts of the Khans finally showed the color. ‘Dabangg’ opened fabulously in the first day and the film has broken the box office record of Aamir Khan’s ‘3 idiots’. It is also said to be Salman Khans’ best performance till date.

In the industry, Salman Khan might be well known for his short temper but when it comes to his brother Arbaaz Khan, he becomes bheegi billli. He dares to go against his decision. Being the producer of ‘Dabangg’ Arbaaz works on his own terms and big brother Salman Khan bows before his every decision. Personally, Salman might be very friendly with Arbaaz but professionally he is very scared of his small brother.
Adds a source, ‘During the shoot of ‘Dabangg’ Salman would rehearse his action sequences a lot. Normally, Salman does not rehearse for long, but Arbaaz was tough on the sets. He made sure that Salman spent enough time on his stunt rehearsals thus pointing to the fact that he can make Salman listen for a change.’
Even Sallu admits that Arbaaz is very strict as a producer and is not ready to compromise his work with anything.
