Read the review of film Loot for more

Loot Review: Star Performances:Govinda struggles to rise above the script but is let down by inane dialogues and a directionless screenplay. He is good, though. Sunil Shetty does a fair job. Jaaved Jaffery tries his best to evoke laughter but succeeds only at times. Mahakshay Chakraborty is okay. Mika Singh does an ordinary job. Kim Sharma is natural. Shweta Bhardwaj passes muster. Ravi Kishan is good, as always. Mahesh Manjrekar is earnest. Dalip Tahhil leaves a mark. Razak Khan has his moments. Prem Chopra makes his presence felt. Shehzaad Khan and the others provide ordinary support. (more…)

Narmada has working very very Hard “Govinda”

Most star parents, whose children have acting aspirations in Bollywood, guide them. But Govinda doesn’t work that way. The actor maintains that he’s not going to dictate terms for his daughter Narmada’s foray into movies.
Probe him on her debut, under the direction of Lovely Singh, and Govinda says, “She has worked very hard. Besides, it’s natural for me to want her to make a good debut. The film is yet to be officially announced, so it’s not right for me to talk.”
Taking the first step forward, Govinda ensured that Narmada didn’t get a lot of celebrity pampering during her . (more…)

Govinda says thou bitter his brief political stint was a learning experience for him

Govinda says thou bitter his brief political stint was a learning experience for him: Mumbai, Bollywood actor, Govinda, former Member, Parliament, political stint, experience, learning, Nothing is easy, Although, politician, difficult, Govinda said

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda, who is also a former Member of Parliament, says though bitter his brief political stint was a learning experience for him.
“I don’t have any regrets having joined politics. Although the experience was bitter… but I learnt lessons. Being a politician is a more difficult task,” Govinda said.
Nothing is easy but politics is too difficult. Since I had come from the world of cinema and not politics I did not know much about it (politics) and by the time I learnt it I felt I didn’t belong to that world. So I decided not to remain there,” Govinda said.
The actor had represented Congress from the Mumbai North constituency from 2004-2009. He had defeated senior BJP leader and former Petroleum Minister Ram Naik to win the seat.
However, he opted out of the 2009 General Elections to revive his sagging career.
As an MP, Govinda has been criticised for being inaccessible to the people of his constituency, especially during the terrible deluge of 26 July, 2005.
“The world of politics is vast and there is a lot that one can learn. It is a difficult task. Only after I entered it, I was able to understand what politics was all about but I did not play politics. Politics is meant for those have spent quite a long time in this field…it is meant for experienced people,” the 48-year-old-actor said.

Why Nobody But Salman let Govinda Dub At His Studio

Prevented a representative of the dubbing studios in some of Govinda two releases lined up - Ravi Chopra’s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai and Neeraj Vora to Run Paula. The Representative calls for films, but did not give permission to record in studios in particular because a number of occasions in the past, he did not attend in time for the reservation.
Chi Chi ended up in the dubbing of his films in a studio in Andheri Salman other installations after refusing to allow him to describe in their workplaces.
Source says: “Govinda never arrived to the studio on time, and then he delayed booking the next person.
This happened many times, and all the studios decided to stop him, and after many of the bookings for the transformation of the following Govinda and had to be canceled as a player ended in late. Since the studios do not want to lose money politely refused him the use of services. “
The producers of Run Bhola Run, Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai in a quandary over how to end parts and Chi Chi. Finally, I asked Chi Chi Salman allow him to record in his studio in Andheri called sight and sound.
Govinda denies this and said, “I have been unemployed for more than a year and my movies are all incomplete. All my recordings of Run Bhola Run, Banda Yeh Hai Bindass full and I have not any new movie for me to record, so this is not true. Has been recorded only in the studio (Khan) Salman on the horizon, Andheri and sound since the partner did, and take that luck for me. “Ever since I registered for the partners in the studio Salman and signed many of the films even after I take it to be auspicious. We have recorded all the future releases there, including other products. Although Salman has a studio I think he asked the person to run it for him now. “

Salman, Govinda break friendship

Things are not very well between two thick friends Salman Khan and Govinda. Together, Salman and Govinda delivered many hits but now they are not in good terms. The bone of contention is said to be Govinda’s daughter Narmmadaa. Few years back, Sallu Miya has promised Govinda a spectacular launch of his daughter but when time came to convert his word into deeds, his priority went to Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha.
Speaking about the tussle between Salman and Govinda, Narmada says, “I am working in a film right now so I have no clue about what’s happening as regards to the film with Salman or between him and dad. I am not upset with Sonakshi. We’ve known each other since childhood and used to meet at birthday parties. The last time I met her was three years ago at Salman’s farmhouse in Panvel. I was never close to Salman but dad was. Rumours of dad and Salman having a rift started during IIFA when Salman walked the ramp with Sonakshi and not me. Rumours bada ho gaya and created a problem. But yeh sab hota rehta hai. Why would Salman launch me in a film? My dad can do that if necessary. He doesn’t need to ask anyone else.”
Govinda was also not part of ‘Dabangg’ success bash. Chi Chi confirms, “I wasn’t invited to the Dabangg party.” He tries to shrug off the speculation, adding he wasn’t disappointed at being left out,  ”It was a Dabangg party so why should I be invited?” When told about the presence of Aamir and Ghai, he says, “They must have been part of the promotions. Why should I go for that? I will come for Partner 2 party.”
Rumor is ripe that Govinda stepped out of the ‘Partner’ sequel and he has also rejected Mahesh Manjrekar’s film produced by Being Human for not liking the script.
Salman and Govinda make a wonderful comic combination. We hope they keep their conflict on the side and deliver more blockbuster in the coming days.
