Bollywood Ranbir says people are perceiving it as a serious film because Anurag Basu is helming it.Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently promoting Rockstar, clears the air about his next venture Barfee, saying it is a romantic-comedy set in 1970s and not a serious film.”It is not a special character, people are just blowing it out of proportion. The treatment to the character and film is not serious at all. It is a romantic-comedy which has been set in 1970s. My character is very fun-loving (awaara types),” Ranbir said.The actor plays a deaf and dumb person, Priyanka will be seen as a mentally-challenged girl and Ileana D’Cruz will be seen as a narrator. First it was Tom Cruise who created a frenzy when news got out that the Hollywood heartthrob will visit our shores for the world premiere of his film, “Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol.”

Ranbir had also refused to work ina  Kunal Kohli film as he did not like the script at all. Ranbir even refused to work with Deepika Padukone in Ayaan Mukherji’s next film after Wake Up Sid.
Ranbir had also refused a film with Shah Rukh Khan because he felt that the producer Karan Johar who was offering the film would not do enough justice to him when it came to being pitted with SRK in the same movie.

Bollywood stars reacted sharp over the killing of most wanted Osama Bin Laden. Actors, actresses and filmmakers of the tinsel town came forward to tweet over the most sensational news of the year.
Bollywood actress Amisha Patel said in a tweet at Twitter, “Hope the news is true about osama being dead. N it isn’t an impostor that monster capable of anything.”
At the same time, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur said, “Osama became the mythical dark force that the US rallied against. It no longer matters tht he is/was dead or alive.” The filmmaker added further, “Something wrong, Hope Indian Govt gets Dawood alive. If they have nothing 2 hide.”
Actor Ranvir Shorey has claimed, “America leads by example again. Pakistan lies through its teeth again. India clueless again.”
The actor demanded, “Dear Govt. of India, in the middle of your bickering with Pakistan, I have two words for you: DAWOOD IBRAHIM.”
But film maker Mahesh Bhatt has different view on all this. Bhatt wanted Geroge Bush to be hanged. He tweeted, “While you ‘rightfully’ celebrate the killing of Osama Bin Laden. Who will hang the other terrorist GEORGE ‘BUTCHER’ BUSH.”

Kat and RK got close and fell in love on the sets of their first film together ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and the sparks between them continued all the way until their last film ‘Raajneeti’.
