Police played spoilsport at Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s 30th birthday bash at a restaurant that was going on till the wee hours today after locals complained about loud music.
The ‘Kaminey‘ star celebrating his special day with close friends had to call off the party at Olive restaurant in suburban Khar as the police reached the spot at 3:00 AM following complaints of noise pollution by some locals.
“The party of actor Shahid Kapoor was stopped after police reached there,” ACP (West) Amitabh Gupta said.
The manager of the restaurant was fined Rs. 5,000 for playing loud music till wee hours and thus violating noise pollution norms and the rules set for late night parties, senior inspector at Khar Police Station Mangesh Pote said.

Grapevine has it that following her patch up with Priyanka Chopra, the charismatic actress Bebo was spotted greeting her ex-flame Shahid Kapoor in an unexpected way, at the 56th Idea Filmfare Awards.

The unanticipated incident took place when the bombshell after delivering a dazzling performance on stage, caught King Khan and Sasha holding a lively conversation and stopped by to greet to them.

The balloon went up when in next to no time the greeting turned into a chinwag.

When tried getting in touch with Bebo, she was not available for any comments. However, her present beau Saif Ali Khan said, “Yes, Kareena did speak to Shahid at Filmfare. They met as one should.”

Bebo, Sallu let bygones be bygones
Bebo is surely having a lot of friendliness in her kitty this year, as apart from Piggy Chops and Sasha she has also sorted out her differences with the ‘Dabangg’ heartthrob Salman.

Apparently, Bebo and Sallu didn’t share a good relation ever since Kareena had walked away from the Salman starrer ‘Jalwa’ which was directed by the prominent director David Dhavan.

Though they shared screen space in Prem Soni’s ‘Main Aurr Mrs Khanna’; they maintained a very formal relationship and exchanged only a bland hello throughout the shooting of the film.

A source said, “Kareena was supposed to do David Dhawan’s Yeh Hai Jalwa (2002), which starred Salman.

It was a closely guarded secret. Due to some reason, Amisha Patel replaced her. Thereafter, all was never well between Salman and Kareena. They have met on several occasions after that, but it was formal at best.”

It was only when they started shooting for the forthcoming flick ‘Bodyguard’ in Pune that they bid goodbye to all the bitter vibes and befriended each other.

Bebo to perform at the national games?
According to the tabloids, the much sought after tinsel town hotties will be seen adding charm to the 34th National Games, to be held on Feb. 12, this year.

Though no confirmed reports have been disseminated; it’s learnt that either the sizzling Kareena Kapoor or the desi girl Priyanka Chopra will be setting the stage on fire at the opening ceremony of the event.

Whereas, the sexy ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ perfomer Katrina Kaif will be seen performing at the closing ceremony of the National Games, to be held on Feb. 27.

Confirming the same, a senior official said, “We have awarded Cineyug contract for opening and closing ceremonies. In the opening ceremony, either Kareena or Priyanka Chopra will take part and Katrina Kaif will take part in the closing ceremony.”

“Cineyug has been awarded contract of Rs.10.50 crore and taxes will be paid in addition to it. Singer Sukhvinder will take part in the opening ceremony and ‘Big Boss 4′ winner Shweta Tiwari will be the anchor of the opening ceremony,” the official added.
