TUSSHAR is  probably the most underrated actor in the industry and maintains a very low profile as well. He has found some success lately, with the Golmaal franchisee delivering three hits in as many years. Tusshar Kapoor, often dwarfed by his sister Ekta Kapoor of the K-serials fame says, “Bollywood is evolving a lot. We need intelligent movies with a lot of masala and melodrama. Movies that expect you to dwell too much may not be a commercial success. It is very important to strike a balance.”

Talking about his latest film “I love you Mr. Kalakaar”, that will be released shortly, he says, “I play a free lance artist, who is a misfit in the corporate world. He cannot stick to a regular run-of-the mill job. In due course, he meets a corporate trainee, played by Amrita Rao and falls in love with her. The main protagonists are very different in their approach to situations and issues and that makes the story more interesting.”

Tusshar says that in real life, he is quite different from the protagonist.

“He also wants to achieve success, without being part of the rat race. I aim to be at the top, but feel that the only route to reach there is to participate in the rat race.”

Mumbai: Tusshar Kapoor, who will be seen sharing screen space with Amrita Rao in the upcoming film ‘Love U…Mr Kalakaar!’, says he is inspired by his co-star`s work ethic.
“She (Amrita) is a very professional actress. Methodical, meticulous and a detail oriented person, which I didn`t really know. So it was very motivating, very inspiring for me to work with her,” the 34-year-old actor told reporters.

“Working with such an actor keeps you on your toes all the time because someone who is a perfectionist can only make you want to do better.”
This is the first time that Tusshar and Amrita have worked together. ‘Love U…Mr Kalakaar!’ is directed by debutant S. Manasvi and slated for a May 13 release

Bollywood actors and filmmakers are showing full support for social activist Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption.
While most talked about it at public events or on social networking sites, some like Anupam Kher and Farah Khan went the extra mile, and flew down to New Delhi to participate in the protest at Jantar Mantar.
