Though Asin is making waves in Bollywood, she still rues missing the opportunity to act with Super Star Rajinikanth.

Asin is back in action. After a spectacular debut with Ghajini and a rather lukewarm London Dreams, the actress teams up with Salman Khan again for her third film Ready, slated for a June 3 release.
In conversation with Sonil Dedhia, the actress discusses her role in the film, her association with the South Indian film industry and her contemporaries.
Tell us about your character in Ready?
I play Sanjana. She is an orphan and is staying with her greedy uncles who are behind her property. I fall in love with Prem (Salman Khan) and Prem decides to teach the uncles a lesson.
This is your second film with Salman Khan. How was it working with him second time around?
I am very comfortable working with Salman. We started shooting for Ready after Dabangg was declared a blockbuster but he didn’t have any starry airs.
I think he has reached a stage where he knows how to handle success and that doesn’t change him as a person. On the sets Salman was as supportive as always. He is always fun to work with and quite a prankster on the sets.
There were rumours of you and Salman Khan getting married.
It was a very funny incident. I was shocked to get messages congratulating me on my marriage. It was funny because everybody else knew about my marriage except me. (Laughs).
So when do we get to see you getting married?
As off now, I have no plans to get married but you never know. I am concentrating on my career right now though.

South sensation who has made a sizzling Bollywood debut with ‘Ghajini’ is in urgent need of a big success. For Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull 2’, she has shed her next-door girl image and gone really sexy. According to reports, Asin will don a swimsuit in ‘Housefull‘.

Asin needs to look too hot in the movie and for that Sajid has asked her to sport a swimsuit. The movie will be shot in the exotic locales of Italyand Greece. It will also have some beach scenes.

After the debacle of ‘London Dreams’, Asin is trying to revive her career in Bollywood with Salman Khan starrer ‘Ready’ and Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’.

Hope, bikini could save Asin.

Asin is one lucky female, who got to spend her birthday with her friends and family members. Three of Asin’s closest friends flew down from different parts of the world to be with her on her birthday on October 26.

Says the actress, “Can you believe it? Tanya from Liverpool, Rose from Australia and Priya from New York co-ordinated among themselves to be in Mumbai for my birthday. We go back a long way. We were in school together. It was my biggest surprise to see them here for my birthday.”

For two full days Asin and her three pals whooped it up. “My friends decorated my entire apartment.Together with my parents they made my birthday so special. It’s very important to have your family and friends from outside the industry. This place can get lonely.”

Asin is back in Mumbai and on the verge of signing some big Hindi films.

“It’s ironical that my parents moved to Mumbai so I could pursue a career here. But now I’ve been out of Mumbai in recent months and they are alone in the city. Now I’m back. For good. During my birthday I make sure that I’m with my parents every year.”
