Actors and directors of Bollywood paid rich tribute to ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh

Bollywood ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh, describing his death as the loss of a “true legend”.
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said that his national award winning film ‘Arth’ attained such heights because of its music, which was composed by Singh and his wife Chitra.
From contemporaries like Mahesh Bhatt and Shaban Azmi to admirers like Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood personalities mourned the demise of the ghazal king. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said that his national award winning film ‘Arth’ attained such heights because of its music, which was composed by Singh and his wife Chitra.
“My film ‘Arth’ would not have touched the hearts of millions of people without the contribution of Jagjit Singh. Thank you friend. Thank you,” Bhatt wrote on (more…)
