With just one month left, actress Lara Dutta‘s marriage preparation have started off in full swing.
The actress, who is set to tie the knot with tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi Feb 19, says she’s running against time to make the arrangements.

DON 2 To Have New Star Cast

Akshay shoots 20 hrs at a stretch for Lara

Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta close friend recently surprised by shooting nearly 20 hours at a stretch for its domestic production shot on location in Jaipur despite having to work around the clock. He saved her money as a producer in the process.
Says a source close to the actor, “Lara approached Akshay for a cameo in her home production which he readily agreed the scenes required three days after him. He plays a cameo role in the film as her husband. But his Tees mare Khan for release and he is also busy shooting for Rohit Dhawan’s Desi Boyz in Mumbai and she did not give dates. “
He thought it through and though it was hard for him, he shot from 8 AM to 4 hours the next day, for 20 hours at a stretch.
Takes note of the source, “Akki is also a producer. He saved Lara production of recordings for two days by completing his parts in one day.”
The source concludes, “AK released on his professional obligations and even a chartered flight to so he could fly to and from Jaipur on his own time. Lara is overwhelmed and not know how to repay, especially since he does not making an allowance for the role. “

Lara Dutta to endorse Kellogg’s Special K

Actress Lara Dutta, who recently launched her video CDs on yoga, was appointed the brand ambassador of Kellogg’s breakfast cereal brand Special K.
“With Special K, I know I have a low-fat breakfast option to start my day. Plus, it helps keep me full and leaves me with energy to grapple with my long day ahead. And, the best part is that I love the taste,” the former Miss Universe said in a press statement.
The 32-year-old, last seen in Housefull, says she connects well with the product.
“I can relate to the Special K woman – I enjoy the confidence that comes from loving your body, and I also try to keep a positive and simple approach to things, including managing my weight,” she added.
Officials at Kellogg India, the Indian subsidiary of Kellogg Company, producer of ready-to-eat cereal and convenience foods, too said Lara is the perfect choice to endorse Special K.
“We are delighted to have Lara on board. We feel she personifies the Special K woman to the T. The Special K woman is feminine, positive, and loves the confidence that comes from the weight that she believes is right for her. She eats and exercises in a simple and balanced manner,” Kellogg India managing director Sangeeta Pendurkar said..

Akshay Kumar’s gesture of friendship for Lara Dutta

Akshay Kumar may have gone far ahead in his career but when it comes to friendships, the actor surely knows how to keep one. Akshay has done three films with Lara Dutta (Andaaz, Blue and Housefull) and he was Lara’s first hero.
So, when old friend Lara Dutta decided to turn producer with Chalo Dilli (a film starring her and Vinay Pathak) and requested Akshay to do a cameo, not only did he instantly agree, but also decided not to charge for it. He has promised to come down to Jaipur and shoot with them for two days. He hasn’t even discussed his role with her as there is genuine trust between the two.
The film is being made under the banner of ‘Bheegi Basanti’ and will have Lara and Vinay Pathak in the lead roles.
