Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty told the daily, “I loved the song when I heard it and wanted to do the video immediately. Yes Romy is Raj’s cousin, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s talented.”

Shay was quoted on a UK-based music site saying, “At home she’s a proper housewife — she doesn’t let anyone near the kitchen! She’s had stardom and now just wants a normal life. She’s never done a music video before, and she hasn’t done anything since Dostana and wanted to shake her hips, so she was really happy to be a part of it.”

Shilpa Shetty has reportedly shot her first music video for brother-in-law Romy Shay in London. Romy, who is a UK-based singer and Raj Kundra’s cousin, has done a track called ‘Bollywood Star‘ on Rishi Rich’s label.
A source told a daily, “Shilpa has agreed to be part of the video and it’s going to be shot in a very lavish style.”

Raj is an ideal husband. Shilpa’s wish is always his command. She will fly her industry friends from Mumbai to Jaipur in a chartered flight to support her team Rajasthan Royals which will play with Pune Warriors on 1st May.
They will return to Mumbai on the very same day after the match. Their staying arrangement has been made in the Pink City of Jaipur.

Bollywood actors and filmmakers are showing full support for social activist Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption.
While most talked about it at public events or on social networking sites, some like Anupam Kher and Farah Khan went the extra mile, and flew down to New Delhi to participate in the protest at Jantar Mantar.
Oscar winning Indian composer A.R.Rahman, said: “It’s the voice of India, he (Hazare) is the voice of India. We all want change for the good things, for the upliftment of the poor. It (change) is going to happen, nothing can stop it.” (more…)

Two years after it was redecorated, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty finally paid a visit to her ‘moola mane‘ (ancestral house) at Mudaladi near the famous Durga Parameshwari Temple at Kateel.
Shilpa and her husband Raj Kundra made a flying visit to the city to see the house, which had got a facelift in November 2009, when the couple got married. Despite expectations that Shilpa would visit her ancestral home last year, this was her first trip here after the house got its new look. (more…)
