New Delhi: Abhishek Bachchan starrer Players is the remake of American film, The Italian Job. Heading for by Abbas-Mustan, the film also has Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol and Sikandar Kher in the star cast. Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra were approached for the film earlier, but the deal didn’t click. Expected to release on January 6, 2012, here’s the first look of Players.

“F1 racers aren’t here today cause they have a rule of not partying before the race,” said actor Arjun Rampal, who is hosting the after-parties on all three days at Jaypee Integrated Sports Complex.Even after being one of the most-awaited events of the year, the first day of the Formula One after-party lacked star glamour with few celebs and no racers attending.”I am glad that I have got the opportunity to host an event like this. Formula One is a very glamorous sport and we have all the F1 bosses and socialites of Delhi present here. You will see the drivers, Bollywood celebs and Lady Gaga on Sunday,” he added.

The shoot of director Abbas-Mustan’s upcoming movie ‘Players’, which features Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh  comes to an end. The movie is now on the editing table and the post production continues.

‘Players’ will release on January 6, 2012. It’s an official remake of the Hollywood crime thriller ‘The Italian Job’.

The film has been shot throughout India, New Zealand and Russia. It also stars Omi Vaidya and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles.

Charming and good-looking Kangna Ranaut, who walked for designer Shantanu Goenka at the enduring WIFW Monday, says the people in Bollywood are not very stylish but for her contemporaries Priyanaka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor.”I don’t want to hurt anyone with my remarks, but I find that the style quotient is missing in Bollywood except for Priyanka and Sonam who know how to carry well,” Kangna told reporters here.
