Every year on the eve of Republic Day (Jan. 26) celebrations, the Government of India confers Padma Shri awards (4th highest civilian awards) to recognize people’s unmatched contribution in various areas.
This year Padma Shri Award ceremony belonged to three versatile actors from Bollywood: Kajol, Irrfan Khan, and Tabu, who were awarded for their unmatched contribution to the Indian cinema at the ceremony. (more…)

The super talented actors Kajol, Tabu and Irrfan Khan and singer Usha Uthup have been named for the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour on the eve of Republic Day, yesterday.
Kajol started her career with
Bekhudi and then went on to become one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood with films like
Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and so on.
